The WA-P-3000 is a pneumatic test fixture including an interchangeable kit that can be flexibly customized to meet specific requirements. In this case, a functional test (FCT) is carried out with a high output. The usable area is optimally utilized so that 20 printed circuit boards (PCB) can be tested simultaneously per testing process.
In order to minimize loading times, five PAPs (moving plates) are used simultaneously as carrier. They enable assembly during the testing process so that the operator can place an already assembled PAP with carrier function in the test adapter. This enables optimum timing of the testing processes without long assembly times.
In this case, 50 mil. connectors. Accordingly, all test probes are in the 50 mil. fine pitch range. 800 test probes of 1.5 N each ensure a total contact force of 1,200 N. The fixture is designed as a wireless test fixture. Spring contact sleeves on both sides (double end sockets) replace the wiring.
