Customization: Mechanical test fixture for FCT

In addition to the customization of our own product lines, we have extensive expertise in customizing test fixture kits and interchangeable kits from other manufacturers. This is a pure customization project. A mechanical test fixture for bi-level testing of different circuit boards.

A bi-level test corresponds to a 2-stage contacting and usually combines the functional test (FCT) with the In-Circuit test (ICT).

This product solution includes the contacting of 400 test points in the first stage and a total of 480 in the second stage. As an alternative to classic push-down fingers, a push-down plate is installed in this configuration. In addition to a marking unit from above, a switching pin query is included to check the presence of the circuit boards before starting the test process. For each of the 80 circuit boards, a magnet is pre-mounted centrally above the respective component. The corresponding alignment and final function of the magnets is the responsibility of our customer.
