This project is a product development for testing a wide variety of test assemblies. Together with our customer and in close cooperation with his test requirements, we have developed a test concept that focuses on the highest flexibility in the field of application.
Our solution approach is based on mechanical test adapters with pneumatic approach mechanism for contacting the following connectors:
The test variant and combination of plugs to be contacted is selected by operating a mechanical rotary switch. This allows different test sequences to be coordinated with different variants.
Additional expenses for electronic control of the connector contacts can thus be dispensed with entirely.
The developed test stations are a combination of testfixtures and test tables. The positioning and application of up to six testfixtures is possible on one test table. The entire test system consists of ESD-compliant components and thus protects the assemblies to be tested from electrical voltage pulses.
