Fully automatic testing in the high-frequency range

This type of test fixture is used for interference-free testing of high-frequency signals, with shielding attenuation being achieved in the frequency range of 6 GHz. This project involves a customized WA-HF-8000 with pneumatic start-up mechanism.

The pneumatic auto open/close function enables fully automatic operation with robot application. Beyond the standard dimensions, the opening angle is 90° and thus ensures the fully automatic loading and removal of test specimens. The opening and closing process takes place via four pneumatic cylinders. The contacts are floating to compensate tolerances.

The external interface is based on customer requirements and can be changed as required. In this case, it is a combination of Harting plugs, BNC socket and Sub-D connection. The compressed air connection is detached at the side and set to 6 bar.
