A special design beyond any standard - a combination of multi-sided contacting floating connectors, LED detection via sensors (DCA), pneumatic push-button actuation and the use of a camera to read out display indicators.
The product solution is a special design with pneumatic start-up mechanism for carrying out a functional test (FCT). The fixture consists of a basic unit and an interchangeable kit. The external interface is based on customer requirements and can be changed as required, just like the interchangeable kit. During the test process, pneumatic contact is made on several sides, LED detection is carried out via the LED Color Analyser (DCA) and pneumatic buttons are pressed.
A box ensures absolute darkness during the test process so that the camera detects even the smallest change in the displays to be read. A magnetic sensor enables the position of the box to be checked on a linear guiding rail. Another sensor signals the correct positioning of the test unit.
The test fixture is suitable for both manual and fully automatic operation with the use of robots.
